Creative and wellbeing workshops offered by Healcentric are non-clinical and separate from therapy services. However, our workshops are delivered with a strong wellbeing focus and can complement personal healing journeys.
Daff Workshop
A workshop exploring a variety of daff techniques and rhythm patterns, combined with the healing power of sound. This session introduces participants to sound therapy, offering a hands on experience of how rhythm and drumming can support emotional and spiritual wellbeing. It can be conducted in person, online, and either in groups or one to one.
Cross Stitch
A beginner-friendly cross stitch session focused on creating a finished bookmark using simple, repeatable stitches.
Includes all materials to take home: Aida fabric, needle, embroidery floss, and printed patterns.
Sip & Paint
A relaxed painting workshop combining creativity with a social, welcoming atmosphere. No prior experience needed.
Includes: Canvas, paintbrush set, paints, snacks, and drinks.
Palestinian Tatreez
An introduction to traditional Palestinian embroidery, exploring pattern, colour, and stitch.
Includes all materials to take home: Aida fabric, needle, embroidery floss, and printed cross stitch patterns.
Arabic Calligraphy
An introductory calligraphy workshop exploring form, flow, and mindful mark-making through traditional Arabic script practice.
Includes all materials to take home: Calligraphy ink, bamboo qalam, and printed tracing sheets.
Crochet for Beginners
A beginner-friendly crochet workshop covering essential stitches and techniques while guiding participants through a small crochet project.
Includes all materials to take home: crochet hook, yarn, needle for weaving in ends, and stitch markers..
Children’s Daff Workshop
A playful and interactive workshop for children, exploring different daff techniques and rhythm patterns while introducing the healing power of sound. Children get to design and personalise their own daffs, making the experience hands on and creative. This approach not only makes playing the daff more fun but also supports learning, stimulation, and engagement.
Hand Embroidery
A creative embroidery session introducing basic stitches and techniques, suitable for beginners and those looking to refresh their skills.
